$LIQ - Governance

How LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN holders participate in protocol governance.
Liquidium.WTF is implementing a decentralized governance system that empowers token holders to actively participate in shaping the future of the platform.
Governance is done via Votico. Votico is not affiliated with Liquidium.
Governance Process
- Proposal Creation
- Currently only authors and admins can create governance proposals due to Votico limitations. Discussion is encouraged in Liquidium Discord governance channels.
- Voting
- All LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN holders are eligible to vote. Voting power is directly proportional to token holdings.
- Voting Period
- Once a proposal is created, it enters a voting period that can vary based on proposal significance and urgency.
- Approval
- A proposal must achieve majority approval. A 5% quorum will be added later.
- Implementation
- If a proposal passes, it is implemented by the designated software development company according to the proposed timeline.
The Liquidium Foundation cannot implement proposals that are not legally compliant, are illegal, or pose regulatory risks.
